It’s hard to break habits, and for years I’ve been telling myself to get healthy. Unfortunately it takes more than a resolution to become the ‘wake up at 6am and drink a celery juice’ type. So this year I signed up for help with Hungryroot, which set me up to eat well, save time and feel good about what’s on my plate.

Instead of devoting hours to grocery shopping, planning out my meals, and standing over the stove, Hungryroot does all of that work for me. I took the quiz and selected what looks good to me, my dietary needs, and even health goals for the upcoming year like ‘improve health’, ‘grocery shop less’, or ‘eat more plants’. Then, Hungryroot creates my custom grocery plan and builds grocery deliveries fit to my tastes. What I also really like is that I can go in and select exactly what groceries I’d like and edit my deliveries too.

The food is always fresh, tasty, and I know that it’s already good for me since Hungryroot carries tons of premium brands I had my eyes on in the grocery store—like Siggi’s, Vital Farms, or Banza. Except now, I don’t have to go to the grocery store! I just order Hungryroot from my couch and everything gets delivered to me. (Score.)

Did you know: Hungryroot customers save 2.5+ hours/week. That’s two and a half hours I’d rather spend catching up with friends, finally teaching myself how to knit, or just enjoying some TV with a tasty, healthy meal in front of me. Speaking of time saving, a classic Hungryroot recipe doesn’t take more than 10 minutes to make. Seriously. I’m always shocked and pleasantly surprised when I’ve got a tasty looking grain bowl or pasta in front of me that fast.

While I haven’t instantly become a marathon runner, I can say for sure that with Hungryroot I’ve skipped countless trips to the grocery store, saved tons of time, and have eaten great every single day.
