I Tried Hungryroot For a Month + Here’s What Happened

Week 1

I’m pretty busy these days. I wanted to try out Hungryroot so I could skip the trips to the grocery store, but still get access to lots of healthy, fresh food. When my first delivery arrived, my fridge was in desperate need of a restock, so it felt pretty satisfying to fill the whole fridge with tons of proteins, veggies, and even some fresh pasta made from lentils. Off to a satisfying start.

Week 2

This week, my delivery included Wild Caught Gulf Shrimp (yum). Needless to say, I was shocked that I made tacos in basically 10ish minutes flat. Hungryroot includes recipes with your groceries to help you put them to use and so far, I find them to be super simple, minimal effort, but still so damn tasty. I think I spend more time doing the dishes than I actually do cooking now?

Week 3

A few weeks into my Hungryroot deliveries and one of the things I’ve really noticed is that veggies have started taking a bigger share of my plate than carbs! Hungryroot has a lot of variety in fresh produce, and I love how colorful it makes my fridge when I get tons of veggies in my delivery. I’m always amazed at how creative I can get with my meals or leftovers when I’ve got stuff like Pea Snaps laying around. You can’t make a wrong move and it’s always nutritious.

Week 4

I’ve officially spent a month getting my groceries delivered from Hungryroot and I’ve gotta say...wow. I feel great, I’m eating great, and I’m as busy as ever, so the fact that I haven’t had to leave the house to go grocery shopping is a huge plus. I feel like Hungryroot helps me save a lot of time in the kitchen, but I’m still able to eat super well and just feel balanced overall. Definitely worth it for me, and my fridge is lookin’ full and happy right about now.
